Mr. Javed F. Tapia
Founder and Managing Director

A young and dynamic entrepreneur, Javed is an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business-Duke University, USA. He has over 17 years of experience in founding and steering a number of different ventures under The Clover Group of companies, which has interests ranging from information technology to real estate.

In 1999, Javed took an early lead in understanding the true potential of Linux and Open Source technologies. With a passion to launch a Linux revolution in the Indian market (which was then dominated by UNIX), Javed established a unit within Clover Infotech focused entirely on delivering best practices for Open Source technologies.

In 2000, Javed led Clover Infotech into a JV with Red Hat, Inc. After successfully growing the operations of Red Hat India Pvt. Ltd., he served as the company's Director and then President for over five years.

Widely credited with spearheading an Open Source revolution in India, Javed has a passion for Information Technology and strong understanding of managing businesses. He is a leading voice in the Open Source community and continues to evangelize its benefits.

Javed is also the founder of Duke University's Fuqua Alumni Club in India and serves on the interview panel for prospective applicants to Fuqua School of Business. He is an active member of the Indian chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO) that seeks to recognize young entrepreneurs in the country.

Mr. Shrikant Navelkar
Vice President

Shrikant is a Civil Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology. A renowned specialist in Oracle Technologies, he has spent close to a decade in marketing and evangelizing Oracle products. Shrikant has core experience in managing large, complex international projects and bringing them to fulfillment. At Clover Infotech Shrikant has served clients such as ABN Amro, Citibank and Ministry of Interiors, UAE, among others.
