Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications within a manufacturing/factory environment. The candidate should have strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials and a good understanding of finance processes related to manufacturing, inventory accounting, cost management, fixed assets, and project accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance Oracle EBS Financial modules across factory and corporate finance operations.
• Work closely with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Plant Operations teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Configure and support Oracle Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, CM, and FA.
• Manage and support financial and accounting processes related to:
  • Manufacturing inventory valuation
  • Cost accounting and cost management
  • Asset capitalization
  • Project accounting
  • Financial closing and reporting
• Support inventory accounting, material transaction accounting, WIP accounting, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Analyze and resolve application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and integrations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Participate in system upgrades, patch testing, rollouts, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide user training and production support to Finance and business teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Finance Functional roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial organizations is preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Good understanding of:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and manufacturing finance processes.
• Experience working with factory stakeholders, Plant Controllers, and Finance teams.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
• Oracle Financials certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
