We are seeking a skilled IBM Guardium Administrator with experience in managing and supporting IBM Guardium environments. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience or formal training in IBM Guardium and a strong understanding of its architecture, including Collectors, Aggregators, and Central Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum 1 year of experience in supporting IBM Guardium or formal training in IBM Guardium.
Familiarity with IBM Guardium architecture, including Collectors, Aggregators, and Central Managers.
Ability to monitor Guardium systems, respond to alerts, and escalate issues to L2 support as needed.
Experience in setting up and managing alerts for policy violations, system health, and data activity monitoring.
Handling incidents related to Guardium, including system outages and policy breaches.
Logging incidents, tracking progress, and maintaining proper documentation for follow-ups.
Managing user accounts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control within Guardium.
Performing initial troubleshooting for common issues such as connectivity problems, policy misconfigurations, and user access issues.
Conducting regular health checks, including system updates, patches, and performance monitoring.
Basic understanding of data masking and encryption within Guardium policies.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with L2 teams and other stakeholders to ensure issue resolution.
Hands-on experience in supporting IBM Guardium configured in Blocking Mode.
