Job Summary:
Proficient Windows Active Directory Administrator with over 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Windows Server environments. Skilled in Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity management. Experienced in automation using PowerShell, troubleshooting authentication issues, and adhering to ITIL best practices. Adept at ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable enterprise directory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
- Utilize PowerShell for automation and routine administrative tasks.
- Handle Active Directory replication, Sites & Services configuration, and FSMO role management.
- Support hybrid identity environments including Azure AD and AD Connect.
- Apply server patching using tools like WSUS, SCCM, or Intune.
- Monitor and maintain backup solutions including Veeam, Commvault, and Windows Backup.
- Diagnose and resolve authentication issues related to LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM.
- Follow ITIL practices for Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPOs).
- Exposure to Azure AD and hybrid identity environments.
- Familiar with patch management and endpoint management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Intune).
- Basic understanding of backup and recovery solutions.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
