Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – HR to oversee Human Resources operations at our Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Pune, supporting the EMEA region, with a headcount of approximately 200 employees. The role also includes HR oversight for employees deployed in, and working out of, our Dubai office. This individual will serve as a strategic HR partner and operational leader, ensuring seamless HR delivery aligned with global standards and regional compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR function for the Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Pune and serve as the primary HR point of contact for the EMEA region, including employees based in the Dubai office.
- Collaborate closely with global HR teams and key stakeholders to drive people strategies and ensure operational HR excellence.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with local and regional labor laws, particularly those applicable in India, the EMEA region, and the UAE (Dubai).
- Foster a high-performance culture by implementing talent development and succession planning initiatives.
- Proactively address employee relations issues, handling grievances and disciplinary actions with fairness and in accordance with policy.
- Support recruitment efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition teams to meet the hiring needs of the ODC.
- Lead HR compliance audits, maintain HR policies, and regularly update employee handbooks to align with regional requirements.
- Track, maintain, and report HR metrics, dashboards, and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
- Drive change management and organizational development initiatives to enable business growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits in coordination with Finance and HR Operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent).
- 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience.
- Mandatory experience in managing HR operations for an Offshore Development Center (ODC) and/or Mandatory experience working with offshore employees/clients
- Must have worked in the Information Technology (IT) industry.
- Experience managing remote or deployed teams, including those working internationally (Dubai/UAE preferred).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with HR systems and tools; strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
